Peace be with you!

I am Pastor Jasmine Tesdahl.  I’ve been blessed to walk alongside Lutheran Church of Peace since 2022, and it is truly my honor to do so.  I’m so excited about all of the ways that this congregation makes brave space and says “Yes!” to living the Gospel with our hands, feet, voices, and spaces. 

We work hard to ensure that Lutheran Church of Peace is a place where everybody feels welcome, and everybody knows that they have something to offer.  You are welcome here!

 

A little about me: I grew up in Indiana, but I have lived from Colorado to France, and points in between.  I hold a Master of Divinity degree from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado, and a Master of Arts from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC). Along with being a Lutheran pastor, I recently concluded my 13-year service as a Chaplain, Major in the United States Air Force Reserve.

 

I feel called to help folks connect to God and connect to each other through the Good News of Jesus Christ.  I am passionate about creating meaningful worship experiences for people, helping people to discern where and how God is calling them to be in the world, and encouraging the People of God to live out our call as followers of Jesus by working for peace and justice in all the earth. 

 

I think I have the best job in the world, but when I’m not in the office, you can find me in my garden, on a horse, or traveling (usually to a beach.)  I live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world: the driftless region of Wisconsin, with my brilliant husband, two innovative kids, sweet-but-crazy dog, and two cuddly cats who are definitely plotting something.
